We are all stones, all different shapes and sizes. Separated we are nothing but rocks, but together we can soar to new heights creating our own
tower It seemed having those two clans nearby was already starting to pay off a bit. Jay, a recruiter for the group had come home one day with a kit known as Foamkit. It was clear that was some kind of clan name. The female was far old enough to get to work and therefore Radio would waste no time with such things. He of course told the female she couldn't keep her full clan name and offered the female to either stick with Foam or pick a new name if she desired as it would be the name she would have from now on. All while doing so he and the young female walked, with perhaps a guard or two, towards a large cave near the mountains. As they arrived there Radio spoke and all were silent "This is the cave of choosing. Do not fear it, for there is nothing to fear as long as you are certain. All those who join The Towers at a young age or are born into The Towers must complete this. Very few have ever been uncertain." They group entered the dark cave and not too far ahead there was a little tower of loose stones. They curved into what looked like a circle, it was small but sturdy.
Radio spoke again and only the cave echoes back "You will enter the tower we have made and we will put stones in front of the entrance until no light shines in. You will be there for exactly 1 day, no food, no water. You shall be left there with your thoughts. Drink water from the pool before you enter to crave your thirst for this journey into your own mind and heart. This is the time you reflect on your life, build your future and decide your path in the group." The guards nudged the female into the towers center, it was just big enough for a cat even of the biggest size to sleep. Radio went on "There are 9 jobs that will happily accept you, but once you choose one you cannot change, that would lead to uncertainty. The nine jobs are Hunters, Scouters, Recruiters, Assistants, Guards, Organizers, Gatherers, Councilors, and Teachers. If you wish for me to go over each job I will gladly do so as you are new to the group and have not been fully exposed to how we operate. But before you ask I must let you know another thing...If you feel you cannot decide or are uncertain by the time a day has passed then you are free to break out of the stone wall and leave. Otherwise....Don't do it." He hummed softly. Of course he gave false information out to new comers of this, he had to see where their loyalty really laid. Perhaps if this female was born into the group he would be more open with the fact if one broke the walls they would be killed. But she wasn't. For all Radio knew this female could be just trying to get into the group to gather information. He always had to be careful...
Do not try to escape the stone wall.

lifes a bit scary sometimes Foamkit was teetering on a already tipping ledge, anxiety squeezing the breath from her lungs. She had been taken away from Sharkfang, lead through the throng of cats by Radio himself. Her sky-blue eyes kept glancing to Radio then the ground, apricot lips clamped together to keep the whimpers from them. It wasn’t like she was scared of The Towers, no not at all! Foamkit just wasn’t good with choices, and one major one had already been thrown at her. At first her pink nose had just scrunched up with dread and she had said nothing. The ginger she had focused on her spotted paws, taking deep breaths.
She had managed to calm herself down, ridding all lingering jitters from her body. In the end Foamkit thought long and hard about changing her mind. Foam was instantly out of the picture, the name didn’t suit her but Riverclan. The Towers was not Riverclan, that fact already apparent. Foamkit might still act young and be an innocent child but that doesn’t mean she was blind. She had noted the fact that Jay was constantly grooming herself, making herself look pristine. Even if she hadn’t noticed the absurdly beautiful faces that had lingered around, Foamkit knew that presentation meant something to these cats. She wanted something that sounded mature, elegant. Her brows furrowed, creasing the middle of her forehead as her brain worked in overdrive. Hope was dwindling from her renewed self-esteem when it finally clicked. camilla. It was just so right. ”Camilla. I want my name to be Camilla” she told Radio, flashing him a pearly smile.
The ginger feminine now named Camilla listened attentively to watch Radio was describing to her, fluffy tail flicking back and forth. A whole day without food or water? That sounded tough. Already her shoulders started to slump, her pointed fangs catching her lip anxiously. When the guards gently nudged her in, she wrestled with the urge to jump. She didn’t want to seem anymore skittish in front of her new leader. Forcing her steps to be smooth she strode into the middle of the tower, per instruction.
Turning to face Radio she forced her body to still, not wanting the depth of her anxiety to be betrayed by small twitches. When he finished talking she offered him a small smile. ”Thank you for your kindness, uh-Radio-sir” She wasn’t really sure what she should call him. She had heard some cats address him as their savior but that felt like a privilege she had yet to earn. Maybe when she came out of this cave, officially a Towers member, it would feel right? Her worry on what to address him as was a speckle compared to the storm of having to choose a job. Needing time to process this information she fixed her soft gaze on him again. ”Could you please explain what they do?”

We are all stones, all different shapes and sizes. Separated we are nothing but rocks, but together we can soar to new heights creating our own
tower Radio raised his eyebrows in pleasant surprise as the female wanted to change her name entirely, it was interesting. Not every member did it, not even Spider removed her whole name, she just made it shorter. Still Radio had a calm smile on his face "What a pretty name my dear." he commented eyeing the small female a bit. She then thanked him for being kind and generous. Something the tom loved to hear from any cat. He loved being admired and praised. He then meowed "And thank you for helping make our tower every bit stronger. We are all the stones that keep our tower stable. Each stone is very important to ensure stability." He got a bit preachy and then cleared his throat a bit to stop himself from dwelling on the speech he had spoken so many times before. He truly did believe it though, as much as it might seem like he was only using it to run the society he had created. In reality he did believe every cat in the group kept it running, which was why he wanted to know everyone and make them understand how important they really were.
The female soon asked for him to describe the jobs and he nodded "Very well." His tail flicked back and forth a bit and he meowed "We have 9 jobs, each very important and contribute a lot to the Towers success. Hunter is a popular job many take, it is pretty self-explanatory. You will hunt for the group. Many cats who enjoy the thrill of the hunt take this spot. If chosen you will be trained how to hunt many different types of prey, we do in fact have many different types of territories around us and beyond us. You will be expected to hunt at least 3 pieces of prey a day, bury two for a later day and put one in the food pile." He elaborated the job and would continue to so the young female would fully understand what exactly was expected of her in these jobs.
Radio went on to the next job "Scouters are the next job that provide a lot of use to the group. They help us seek out new land to hunt in, or they help us spy on intruders. Being a scout means you need to be quiet, observant and calm under pressure. Its a bit of a dangerous job, but works well for cats who love to explore. You will usually be sent in groups of about 3 to 4 to scout new areas but 1 or 2 if you're spying. Then you report back to me or an Assistant if I'm busy." Radio was pretty sure this female would not take that job based on her stiff movements the way over here. He soon went on the the third job "Next are Recruiters, you've meet one already, her name was Jay. Her job is to recruit new members like you, young or old, all matter. Typically we recruit from the city more to give the hard street life cats a chance to have a good healthier life here. Recruiters don't exactly all use the same method to recruit. Some use their wits, others charms. However it is done they get the job done. We do keep a track record though. Each season you must get at least 1 new recruit, failure to do so means you'll be an underling to a more experienced recruiter. This is to ensure you get better though so don't fret." Radio wasn't sure if the female could handle that but this would be her decision point. Each of these jobs held a good chunk of responsibility. Radio meowed again, his voice not even tired as he spoke a lot "Assistant, is a popular choice among females. You are a more free form task group that perform little tasks to other members in the group. These can really be anything. Some assistants are asked to find cats, carry news, help elders or other jobs. While some take the more sexual route. You haven't meet Spider but she's one of the assistants that takes that route due to her infertility. She helps calm sexual desires from males and females with her own body. But this isn't something many cats would do. Sometimes Assistants can have a dangerous job. For instances, when the clans first arrived here, I sent Spider out first. She could have easily been killed if they were hostile enough. Some assistants have died from other group of cats coming here. Which is why we try to make sure they are very good communicators and persuaders like recruiters." There was indeed a lot to say about the assistant job mainly because of how transformitve it could be. One minute a cat could be doing simply chores like cleaning camp the next they could be live bait for some dangerous predator. It was both the easiest job and sometimes the hardest job to do.
Radio once more continued on his descriptions of each job "Guards are next, we were just escorted by them. Popular with cats who love to protect others or fight. Guards accompany me often, as well as recruiters, scouters at times, and hunters. They do their best to ensure we are safe when we work. Typically we will want strong cats for this. Guards are also the ones that usually lend me an ear when a crime has been committed and will get those who caused the crime punished. As you may have guessed they can die at a moments notice when protecting, and therefore we value them greatly." His tail flickered back and forth as he was nearly half way through. "Next we have Organizers, almost a bit similar to scouters but more internal. They stay in the safe grounds. They inform me of the gossip or news around camp as well as organize the rituals for each moon cycle. It's a bit more structured based, you will have some organizers over you until they believe you're ready to take the responsibility of running a whole ritual. They work with the hunters and gatherers during the feast and the seed burying rituals." Radio rubbed his fur a bit taking a bit of a breather for a second, mainly because he could smell the drifting breeze of the rotting corpses far off in the cave. Though the stone wall kept the scent from reaching the female. "Next on the list are Gatherers. They collect the seeds for the ritual as well as tend the garden. Tending the garden means they extract the useful herbs and put them in storage, while reporting any infestations, though the infestations are usually dealt with by the more experienced gatherers. They tend to know how to get rid of what are usually insects. If not they'll send a request for an assistant to go into the city and find some of the twoleg formula that'll kill them. But this is a last resort as that stuff is dangerous for us too and will force us to leave the garden alone for quite a while." If anything Radio thought that was probably the most lay back job he had. It was popular with very peaceful cats. "There is also Councilors, they are like the peacemakers of the group. We don't like disputes that could get violent. Councilors will often come in and stop the fighting. But you will have to be trained in this before you're trusted to do so. You need a lot of patience to do this job. Another part of the job is to generally give good advice to all the cats that need it. Cats might come to you with their problems, there worries. Maybe its mate trouble or a crush? Perhaps its this very cave they worry about. Your job is to help nudge them in what seems like the best direction for them and the group. This is why you must be heavily trained in that department, its a very emotional job and requires delicate paws..." Finally Radio cleared his throat "And now the last job. Teacher. Teachers are very important for the group, you will be working with kits, less than 6 moons old, as well as with new recruits old or young. You are a guiding light for them. You teach them the ropes, the rules, whatever they need to know really. You prepare them for their life here. You for instances should look into finding a teacher and asking her things. They are very knowledgeable and can tell you a lot about your job or other jobs. Purely educational though." He took a pause for a bit before meowing "And that is every job we have. You best take a drink now for your day in there will begin soon. Dehydration can cause you to lose yourself." he warned.
Do not try to escape the stone wall.

lifes a bit scary sometimes Radio’s preaching words sounded… lovely. The idea that each individual played an important part in keeping the group together. Her baby blue orbs searched his and she felt like he meant it. He may seem a tad… off, but he truly believed what he was telling her. If the leader of a group believed in something, shouldn’t she believe in it too? When she had been under Sharkfang’s care, Camilla had done everything he had asked because he had believed it too be the correct way in surviving. ”I will do my absolute best at keeping my stone in place” Despite being a rather anxious cat, she felt soothed in Radio’s presence, which had her talking more then usual.
The tom then started explaining all the jobs to her and she felt extremely overwhelmed. There was so much information for one job but at least he was starting out easily. Camilla was impartial to hunting. She had never learnt and didn’t find it extremely thrilling, but surely if someone taught her she’d succeed at it? Her mind wandered to her first ever hunt, when Sharkfang had sent her sprinting after a rabbit. She had not succeeding in catching it, but had been close enough. Scouters was already out as an option as soon as he said it, Camilla knowing she wouldn’t react well under pressure. ”It is generous of you to allow the city cats into your home” she murmured thoughtfully. She wasn’t really sure about being a recruiter, all she could think about was how disgusted Sharkfang had been at Jay. Camilla really didn’t want the tom to be disgusted at her, either.
Assistant seemed to hit some marks. It sounded like the right job for her. Of course the more dangerous part scared her but wouldn’t that be good for her? Camilla didn’t just want to choose a job that suited her, she also wanted one that challenged her. Of course she wouldn’t take the sexual route - whatever that meant - but maybe Spider could also help her a bit? Through her hard thinking she had missed when he had mentioned ‘the clans.’ Her eyes widened, gasping. ”The-The clans are here? I thought- Riverclan got destroyed” This really didn’t change anything though. Camilla had never been attached to Riverclan and if any of the other clans were here, she didn’t feel any kinship towards them. ”I-i’m not trying to suggest I’m still loyal to them, it just comes as a shock to me. I wish to join your group and not the clans” Camilla decided to reiterate her feelings, not wanting Radio to think her outburst changed her decision to join.
The rest of the jobs didn’t catch her attention, apart from Gatherers. However one of the things that had stuck with her from the clans was that only chosen cats could learn herbs. A warrior learning herbs was banned and she wasn’t comfortable enough to go against that strict law. When Radio instructed her to go take a drink and she obeyed with a soft meow ”Thank you for explaining all the jobs to me, I will think it through” Her mind was already racing with so many possibilities, blue eyes clouded with thought. Once Camilla had finished quenching her thirst, she turned to face Radio. ”I’m ready” Camilla felt ready but she wasn’t really sure if she was supposed to do something else, so her statement came out more as a question.

We are all stones, all different shapes and sizes. Separated we are nothing but rocks, but together we can soar to new heights creating our own
tower Radio was quite calm as he usually was when things were in his control. He had stated the bare minimum of the jobs for the female in front of him. It was enough information to know what the job required. He was amused the female wanted to know the jobs, sometimes cats would just ask what the jobs were without any detail. Those cats usually ended up dead if they picked the wrong job too. A purr rumbled in his throat as the female mentioned keeping her stone in place and he meowed "Good. Your stone will help us rise if you do so and all will benefit." Everyone benefited when jobs were done right and rules were followed. That's how they were so big and could support so much. Everyone did their part.
He gave a nod to the female as she stated how he was generous to give city cats a chance here. He softly meowed "I originally came from the city, I understand it's hardships. Cats getting put down by twolegs, ran over by cars, killed by dogs and such. A terrible place to live in really. It's far more peaceful here and safe..." he said in a smoothing voice. When her eyes widen from the news of the clans Radio was a bit surprised. An eyebrow rose from his face as she spoke. He meowed "I don't know who riverclan is I'm afraid. They called themselves Windclan and Shadowclan." He got a little suspicious but his face curled back into a welcoming smile as the female spoke about how her mind hadn't changed from joining them. Good because we are far more superior and they know it. Is what the tom thought.
He watched the female get her drink and when she stated she was ready Radio called to his guards and the stone wall was completed, leaving the female trapped in it's dark prison. Radio meowed "See you soon Camilla. I look forward to our next visit..." He of course wasn't going to stay, the guards would but not him. He would be back after her time was up. He had business to conduct and plans to form. Do not try to escape the stone wall.

lifes a bit scary sometimes Camilla was distracted for a second when he mentioned he didn't know who Riverclan was. Riverclan and Thunderclan must have been wiped out to by the storm. Despite feeling little connection to her old home, she was glad not all of the cats had perished in the freezing temperatures. A silly question wriggled through her brain, forcing itself to be present in her thoughts. 'What if Otterkit was alive?' Otterkit had never shown her much affection but with their family dead, maybe he'd join The Towers? Camilla's baby blue gaze flicked to Radio, assessing the tom. Radio would be delighted if she convinced her brother to come. She'd have to mention it to someone to see if they'd seen him.
Waves of anticipation and fear rippled down her spine, causing her breathing to pick up. She wasn't sure why she was getting increasingly nervous and tried to focus on her breathing. Even though Radio could not see her, she simply nodded to his final words. She did not have the concentration to reply. Her concentration was captivated by the dark, stone prison she was currently in. Camilla's life had been a horror story. Her home had been buried under the snow, her father then killed by the very same force with her mother dying of sickness soon after. She had lived through enough tragedy to know not to be scared of what her mind made up. Monsters were not lurking in the dark, she was okay. She would come out of this a changed cat. The young Molly was already certain of the job she wanted and she decided not to dwell on it. Dwelling on it would let doubts worm their way into her thoughts and she did not want Radio to think she was indecisive.
Instead, she would explore.

We are all stones, all different shapes and sizes. Separated we are nothing but rocks, but together we can soar to new heights creating our own
tower Time had passed, the clock ticked its hours away, one by one. Eventually the clock ran out of time. A whole 24 hours had passed by since the ritual began. With the 24 hours done it was time to released Camilla. Radio was there, pleased to be informed by the guards that the female had stayed quiet and had not tried to break free. Coming over to the stone wall he meowed "Dear Camilla, 24 hours have passed, you shall be released and I do hope you have come to an agreement with your mind and heart of what job you believe best suits you in helping us build our Tower." He beckoned the guards to remove the boulders slowly and as they did so light shined into the darkness. Radio stood at the entrance seeing Camilla there, her eyes having to adjust from the constant darkness "So. What shall it be my dear?" He asked. Do not try to escape the stone wall.

lifes a bit scary sometimes Camilla was glad that her time in the dark, smelly cave was up. For the first part of it she had been fine, but then she had slowly gotten more resteless. Any cat would find it hard to stay down there for 24 hours, but she felt like she had done pretty good. Radio's meow had relief flooding through her, and she darted to the boulder. She was light on her toes, shifting her weight from paw to paw. For a second she stood, letting the fresh air wash over her. It felt so good, so invigorating. She wished she could run out, rolling around in the fresh grass, but she couldn't. She was blinded by the sun, her tearing up as they adjusted to the light. "Greetings, my savior" she dipped her head in the direction of his figure. Her words were with warmth and caring, and also full of awe. "I have chosen to be an assisitant."
