Bluebell was a shadow as she danced atop of the snow. Weight forward, moving briskly. She didn't feel like sinking into the snow, till her soft belly-fur touched the ground. Icky. A sadist smile contorted her features, how once that might have been her biggest problem. Keeping herself pristine, hoping to catch a tom's eye. It had never mattered that she'd been gay, she still liked the attention. When she got it. Now she just didn't feel like getting her prey anymore wet. It had been half-dead and frozen when she'd found it. A small bird in the crook of a tree. It didn't have enough strength to fly away, but she felt no pity as she ended it's life.
It was all for a good cause, she would be giving it to her clan. And that's what she did. It really didn't have any meat on it, all the flesh burnt away in the starvation. But when the lucky cat had finished chewing through the harsh skin, maybe they could give the bones to a grumpy elder. If their were any left. Bluebell didn't bother keeping check on her clanmates, who was alive and who wasn't. She didn't care. Her thick blue pelt fluffed up against the cold as she continued her long strides into camp.
Distantly she noted the burning in her toes and ears, the stiffness in her muscles. Too distant for her to care. She also dimly noted the fact she had seen Vipernose's kit around. Hopefully it hadn't died yet. So she dropped the prey on the ground and nudged it into the space the queen's and kit's had been staying. If one didn't smell the faint scent of death, one could think it was a leaf. Literally. A furry leaf.
Snorting her distaste the princess turned once around, gazing at the camp. Infinite darkness clouded her gaze. This had once been her throne, or at least symbolized what her throne could have been. The only thing that kept her here was that she had no where else to go. No one to turn to.
Bluebell would forever be alone. It didn't matter if Owlpaw survived this trip, she was destined for a loners road. And she would be damned if she let the weight crush her.
With a deep breath she strode to where the sparse shrubbery had once been and settled down, the cold still too far away for her to care.
