Vipernose The tabby was excited, to say the least. Her and her mate had decided to go out on this night, away from the journey, away from the chaos. What they were going to do? Neither of them knew, but it was something they had both needed for a very long time. Something that she thought they both deserved…
Date night.
It was a clear night; there were millions of stars in the sky and the snow created a thin, shining, white blanket across the forest. The trees were tall around the clans, reaching into the sky, grappling for handfuls of stars. It was truly a gorgeous sight.
Both clans had just finished eating their small meals, and it was time for them to settle down for the night. They were almost to their new home, and this could be the last night of this horrible journey. But maybe it would end well for her and Ravenfoot...The molly stood from her small nest-like dip in the snow towards the front of the crowd. She did not hide her grin or quick pace. She made her way to her love and gently prodded his shoulder. “Ravenfoot,” she whispered. “It’s time.”
Vipernose touched her nose to the top of his head and licked his fur lightly, love showing in every gesture. She was ready.

The spotted tomcat looked to his mate, unable to help the smile on his lips. "You ready?" he asked, tone quiet and soft, "I found the perfect place while everyone was out eating, it's beautiful..." he touched his nose to her head, purring softly for the love of his life, "Just make sure to stay close, it's starting to get dark." RavenFoot stood, his ears pricked as he blinked his one good eye, it seeming to shimmer with joy for a moment as he looked into his mate's eyes. Nothing could ruin his night. |

VipernoseVipernose smiled in the moonlight as she nodded eagerly. She purred in sync with him at his touch, pure happiness the only thing she felt. She backed up to let him stand, practically bouncing on her paws. Once he was firmly standing, she pressed her side into his, making sure there was no space left in between them.
“You said to stay close, and you’re warm,” she giggled. “Now let’s get moving. Take me to this oh so beautiful place of yours…” She trailed off, her eyes glinting in the dim lighting. She wasn’t going to let anything get in her way tonight. She was going to do this for the both of them. They needed it.
The tabby rested her head on Ravenfoot’s shoulder and closed her eyes, basking in the warmth of his fur. Her whiskers twitched with the beginning of an affectionate grin, and she never wanted the moment to end.

He nodded to her, giving a slight blush and a smile as he started to walk, slowly entwining his tail with hers and keeping it close, "Well, if you're gonna enjoy my warmth I better get to enjoy your smile" he gave her nose a lick, "And a blush or two~" he cooed as he lead the way, slipping away from the group and leading her a ways into the trees |

VipernoseAs she earned his red cheeks, she gave him a small blush of her own at his sweet words and the knot his tail created with hers. Their pawprints were a mess in the snow behind them, but she could care less; she was having fun.
She smirked. “Oh, please,” she laughed. “You’re easier to embarrass than I am.” She intentionally hid her smile by looking away, wondering if he would notice that she was just trying to get on his nerves.
Without warning, she faced him again and licked her mate on the muzzle, a devious look in her eyes. She tried to play it off as if it wasn’t her, but she couldn’t contain her euphoric outburst of giggles. She was being very loud, and if the other clan cats had a problem with it, they could answer to her.

"I most certainly am no-" he cut off when he felt her tongue touch the roof of his maw when she went to lick his muzzle, making him gasp dramatically and flop over, pulling her down with him due to their entwined tails. The tom began gagging and coughing, posing dramatically, "I've been p-poisoned! Ack!" he flopped, going limp but being sure that all of his limp legs were on top of his mate, his tongue poking out at he closed his eye, totally dead. |

VipernoseA squeal erupted from her mouth and traveled through the forest as she went down with Ravenfoot. She watched as he faked a very dramatic and over-the-top death. She propped her head up on her paw, a kitty brow raised. This was why she fell in love.
Now a jumbled mess of fur and legs, Vipernose rested her head on his chest and stared up at the sky, her heart seeming to expand with love. She wished they had done this sooner… Or more often.
The tabby purred and moved her head into the crook of his neck, her eyes closed as she enjoyed the feel of his fur against hers.

For a moment RavenFoot stayed laying limp before opening his eye, putting his paws around ViperNose softly and leaning his head back to look at the stars. His voice was quiet and gentle, "Ya know, I think you must be incredibly special," he began, "You just have to think about it, ya know?" he curled his tail over her body as he spoke, "Through all of this, all the danger, foxes, the cold, hunger, and we're still suuuuper old" he chuckled |

VipernoseAs he put his paws around her in a protective circle, Vipernose burrowed impossibly deeper into his neck. She smiled, her eyes closing. She focused on the rise and fall of his chest as he spoke.
She listened as he talked about her being so special. She felt is tail curl around her, and she exhaled happily. But she had to stay something first.
“We’re special,” she meowed, opening her eyes and looking up at him. “Neither of us would be special without the other.”

VipernoseVipernose pretended to flinch as he touched her nose, but quickly curled back up into him. His words hung between them. You’d still be incredibly special and you know that. She didn’t believe it herself, but if he demanded it…
She just wasn’t happy with the fact that he didn’t think he was special. She frowned slightly, but her mood didn’t stay down for long. They hadn’t even started having fun yet.
The tabby leaped to her paws, excitement pulsing through her once more.

RavenFoot gave her nose a lick as he stretched his legs, getting up with a smile, "Follow me, if you can" he joked as he took off, running into the tall grass. He wasn't very fast due to his injured leg, but is leg was only getting better the more he put it to use. |
