biography Fawnstep was born of a Windclan mother and a kittypet father in the city, and just a few short moons later, her sister had entered the world as well. Not long after, her mother disappeared, probably having died run over by a car or the like. Left alone, Fawnstep took care of her little sister as best she could. To feed them both, when she was younger, the now medicine cat resorted to killing, skinning, and eating the cats without her sister even knowing what they were eating. Life from that point on was rough, and Fawnstep became more and more closed off to the world around her, but enjoyed seeing her happy-go-lucky little sister frolic in the snow or get excited over meeting new cats when they joined the clans. Then the leader died, a new leader took his place. Fawnstep was chosen to be medicine cat of a clan she'd joined only a few moons before. Nervous for herself, her sister, and this new clan she'd already begrudgingly started to become fond of, she took on the position aggressively.
