` ♚ B L U E P A W ♚ words . tags ♚Bluepaw had to admit that the territory was luxurious. It was easy to see how The Towers thrived. However they were intoxicated by Radio and it would simply take one mere death to unravel them. The clans would either live peacefully alongside this group, or one group would die. They were too confident, and that infruitated Bluepaw. She had calmed down from her rage at the little whore and Radio, but her opinions were still very much the same.
It had came to the point where she could sulk around and yell about having to go to the stupid ritual, or she could be productive. She’d rather sulk, but she wasn’t really a kid anymore. Bluepaw had to at least attempt to be ‘mature’ or ‘responsible’ whatever the fuck that was supposed to mean. She didn’t have that many responsibilities that she actually cared about… but she did have Owlscreech and Blue. Blue was in an empty void right now, not Shadowclan, not Windclan… Maybe she could shove him into Shadowclan.
Blue had a very low chance of getting a good relationship with Owlscreech unless he put in effort, and if Bluepaw was honest he was kind of a wimp. He wasn’t like Bluepaw and Owlscreech, but the three siblings could meet halfway. Before she could round up Blue from where ever he is, she had to find Owlscreech. Finding her half-brother wasn’t a difficult task, he had his own den in the back of camp and when he was out and about, a flurry of activity always followed him.
Her own den - the nursery - was on the base layer, a spacious den in one of the trunks of the outer redwood trees. She hadn’t really participated in helping fortify the camp or make the dens safe or whatever her clanmates were doing, but she had managed to get some soft bedding to dust the den and make some nests, not just for herself but also any other cats who would be joining her in the nursery. Bluepaw hadn’t really asked Owlscreech if she should go in the apprentice den or nursery and had just decided that the nursery was much more suited to her needs.Thank god it also wasn’t high in the trees,Bluepaw couldn’t deal with heights. She’d have to find some excuse in staying in the nursery for longer as she was not up for living in a den even a bit above the ground.
Slinking out of the quiet, shaded space she braced herself for the flurry of activity from Shadowclan, making headway towards where Owlscreech was. ”Owlscreech! We need to talk” She swatted him on the back with her long tail, raising her kitty-brows at him. ”Don’t wander off doing leader-shit or whatever you do, stay right here” she meowed firmly. As she waddled off, she made her way towards where she had last seen Blue. She had managed to convince him to stay in the new Shadowclan territory, just so she didn’t have to walk that far to meet him. He really did care about her and her kits and despite the fact he got scared easily, he put away his embarrassment and wimpiness to help protect Bluepaw’s kits.
”Blue, get your ass over here!” Bluepaw didn’t waste time on formalities as she rounded up her brother, and dragged him into Shadowclan camp. ”Whatever happens Blue, don’t fuck this up. You have one chance to start making amends with Owlscreech and I, and I’m making this very easy for you” She wasn’t literally dragging him back into camp, but she definitely would if he refused to move his little legs. Being the oldest she felt like it was her duty to keep this family together, even if it was more then a little rough around the edges.
When they got to camp she shot Blue a warning glare, before stalking up to their brother ”Owlscreech, I think Blue has something to say to you”

I said hey look Ma, I made it.
Shadowclan was home. They had finally made it.
Yesterday evening, as Radio took him and his clanmates on a tour around the redwood forest, Owlscreech felt like he was walking on air. For a moment, all the pain in his limbs disappeared as he trekked between trees, mint eyes wide as he scanned the base of the trees that stretched up to greet the clouds. The forest was different to what they had back in the mountains, of course, but something about the atmosphere drew him in. It wasn't the same, yet it offered the some of the same qualities of their last forest.
The trees were huge, and not as closely packed together as the pine trees that grew on the mountainside, but the leaves overhead spiraled outward and cast large patches of shade throughout their territories. They even had a marshland, something that Owlscreech was certain would put his Shadowclan born warriors at ease. It was their home away from home, and Owlscreech could see his Clan flourishing here.
The camp had been... different, yes, but Owlscreech had been captivated by it as soon as he saw it. His eyes had instantly wandered across the four trees that circled each other, and how each one had been cut and hollowed out by humans. It was hard to explain, but... Owlscreech had felt his own eerie sense of belonging as he looked at them. This place was nothing like the city, Owlscreech had hated the city, but there was something about the feeling this camp gave him that he just couldn't shake. It reminded him of the places he and his mother would stay.
By the end of the day, Radio had left Shadowclan alone, and almost at once Owlscreech had been swarmed. Cats wanted directions, wanted to know what they were to do in order to protect the Clan from any dangers in the forest, of Windclan and The Towers. There was also deciding which cats would sleep were, and they had to start stockpiling fresh kill as soon as possible. It was all a lot to take in, but with Vipernose and Ferntrail by his side, they quickly got to work dividing the camp. Dens were settled and cats were sent out to hunt and see if there was moss nearby for bedding. Camp defenses would come later.
That night, as soon as Owlscreechs head hit the mossy nest below him, he had fallen asleep. He had slept soundly and undisturbed, well past dawn, until the sun was nearing its highest arch in the sky. As soon as he stepped out of his den, cats were nipping at his heels for directions.
"Vipernose and I have decided to use brambles to fortify the outer wall," Owlscreech meowed calmly to one warrior. "Why don't you take a small party of warriors and see if you can collect some?" As the warrior began to bound away, Owlscreech swiveled his ear to catch the sound of Bluepaw, his half-sister, calling his name. Her tail thumped into his back as she deemed him too slow in turning around, and before Owlscreech could even ask what she wanted she was padding away at a speed that seemed much too quick considering the weight sagging under her. Rolling his eyes with a small smirk at Bluepaws antics, Owlscreech settled onto his launches and begin to give his fur a quick wash while he waited. He figured this was about her naming ceremony, which she really was overdue for. Maybe she'd go fetch Hollowdusk to yell at him?
Less than ten minutes later, Bluepaw returned to camp dragging... oh. Instantly Owlscreech slit his eyes as he gazed at the two felines in front of him. They looked almost identical, so Owlscreech had no difficulties recognizing who Bluepaw had brought to him. Heaving a sigh and bringing one of his paws to rub his face, Owlscreech decided to see where this was going. "Alright, let's hear it." He meowed, dropping his paw and staring at Blue with disinterest.

Blue was sleeping in his treelike den snorting softly, when suddently he was jerked awaken by Bluepaw's harsh voice. 'Making amends?...Isn't that what I'm trying to do? I'm still here...or was it the fact I tried to kill myself? Or Maybe it's the embassing moment I had with Whitesparrow on my back while Spider had her spell on me?' Shrugging he stretches his body and padded slowly. He saw Owlscreech and gulps not sure what to say. He widen his eye at Bluepaw as he was put on the spot. Then looked at Owlscreech as shuffled his paws he did know what to say. He figured Owlscreech hated him, but backing him into a corner didn't make things easier. "Bluepaw what's going on...?" He asked finally.

Whitesparrow
"Can you see, even without the light?"
The pure white she-cat would have been resting in the clearing, enjoying the shade that the large trees made for her poor sensitive eyes. This camp and territory was very pleasant to her, She couldn't see the stars very well at night but during the day she could actually do more then if she was in the pure bright light. Ears flickered from each movement the cats around her made, the return of a normal clan life. It was kind of peaceful besides the light lingering of spooks that the group called the Tower had. Just not being able to notice them unnerved her.
Whitesparrows attention would perk up slightly as a familiar voice hit her pink skinned ears, Blue was here? She would slowly shuffle herself up to her paws as she noticed him speaking with his siblings, even if it sounded like only a few words. Whitesparrow would slowly start padding over towards them, a friendly soft smile upon her lips as she dipped her head towards them but her gaze shifted to Blue. "From you being here, I assume you decided to join?" She vocalized softly as she remembered him mentioning that he had wondered about joining Shadowclan. Honestly it was nice to think of him joining.

` ♚ B L U E P A W ♚ words . tags ♚Bluepaw could see that Owlscreech wasn’t exactly ecstatic to see their brother, but he didn’t exactly reject him. This was good, Bluepaw could work with this. However Blue didn’t seem to be able to work with it. All he had to do was waffle on about how sorry he was and not offer himself as a slave again, but Bluepaw had to do that now? She first stared at Blue with her cobalt hue, and then at Owlscreech. ”What’s going on? Blue, you are going to tell Owlscreech how sorry you are for being an ass and do your best to make up everything that’s went wrong. Owlscreech is then going to let you join Shadowclan”
She couldn’t help the sigh that escaped from her lips, taking a seat on the ground and she knew they’d be here for a long time. ”Look our family isn’t perfect, but if we never try we’ll never have a family. The first step into taking a stride to forgiveness would be living in the same place. I love you Owlscreech and I definitely could love Blue, you guys both have your quirks and you just need to get over yourselves. Owlscreech, you have the power to change our lives, for better or for worse. Even without your personal attachments to Blue, don’t you think he deserves a chance to live in this amazing place that we are lucky to live in?”
A small smirk captivated her features as she stared at Owlscreech ”Surely you wouldn’t banish your own kin to live with as a Windclanner” her tone a teasing purr, trying to lighten the mood. Then a pale-furred molly padded over, obviously after hearing their conversation. She looked familiar… Ah, Whitesparrow! This was the one Blue had been carrying around on his back so oddly, when he tried to get closer to the whore. ”Goodday” she meowed in a suspicious voice, but a notably polite one for her.
”Is this your girlfriend, Blue?”

I said hey look Ma, I made it.
"He is?" Owlscreech meowed with a hint of laughter to his voice, however, as Bluepaws next statement left her lips the toms brows furrowed slightly, a confused "... I am?" leaving his mouth before he could bite his tongue. It wasn't that Owlscreech didn't want Blue to live in Shadowclan. He had been so excited when he had learned Bluepaw and Lizardpaw were his siblings! He had never had any family members apart from his mother before, and Tao had thought he left his only family behind when he left the city, even if he was only leaving behind a grave.
Owlscreech blinked away the memories that clogged his brain, instead refocusing his eyes on Bluepaw as she began to speak to him. She was talking about family, about second chances, and about him being the leader. Blues life really was in Owlscreechs paws. Sure, Blue could go to Windclan as Bluepaw so kindly reminded him, but then he would just be a pawn in Mushroomstars game. Then what was left for him? The Towers? They didn't know anything about those damn rogues, Owlscreech wasn't about to let that Spider bitch get her claws on his brother.
Before Owlscreech could respond to anyone, Whitesparrow had padded up to their small group and seemed to be looking at Blue with her unfocused eyes. She and Blue had seemed to form a bond of some kind, but Owlscreech wasn't sure where to place it but seeing that the delicate molly wanted her half-brother to join just as badly as Bluepaw did, how was Owlscreech supposed to deny them? Then, of course, Bluepaw had to slip in one of her famous questions- and Owlscreech was just happy she wasn't asking him about Maplefang.
Instantly, Owlscreech barked a laugh and swiftly smacked a paw against his sisters back. He could make a joke about Bluepaw being the only cat in the family who rushed into relationships, but that could very well be taken as a jab rather than playful banter, so Owlscreech held his tongue. Turning his attention to Blue, Owlscreech fixed his half-brother with a curious look. "I'm not going to accept you into Shadowclan just because Bluepaw wants you here." He replied calmly. "Shadowclan needs warriors who want to be here, who are willing to defend their Clan and their family with their life." Rising one brow, Owlscreech stared directly into Blues eyes. "So, are you one of those cats Blue? Or did Bluepaw drag you here by your ears?" 417 words

Blue shuffles his paws, "Bluepaw you know I'm not good with words...but yes Owlscreech I am sorry..." He said softly thinking carefully, but his blue eye caught the sight of Whitesparrow and his glance soften a lot his paw went up to his blue jay feather that was still by his ear when they first met remembering the fond time they had. He was puzzled by what Whitesparrow said about joining the clan and wasn't sure how to answer. His blue eye widen as Bluepaw continued to explained then flat out asked Whitesparrow if She was his girlfriend, "Bluepaw!!! We're just...close friends." He said blushing shuffling his paws althought he has considered it but they decided to take it slow. He turned to see Owlscreech and had a small grin growing on his face. It wasn't often he got to see him smile and that was something he would always treasure. He snapped back to the present as Owlscreech asked if he was one of those cats willing to protect the clan and family with their lives. "I'm still here aren't I?" He said softly as he padded closer.

Whitesparrow
"Can you see, even without the light?"
Whitesparrow quickly noticed she might have walked in on something that was more then simply Blue joining the clan, something between siblings. She didn't really know much about a relationship between brothers and sisters which made her just stay silent. Listening to them speak, perhaps she should have waited? A ear flicked towards Bluepaw's question and the outburst of Owlscreech, her cheeks grew warm. Was a bit embarrassing for someone to simply ask that when she stood right there.
She took a small motion back but didn't fully step, "Simply friends" She agreed with a very light and gentle tone. Her gaze now shifting around the three felines, pausing on each one for a moment. Bluepaw seemed to be getting rounder as time went on, no bad round but the size that showed life. Whitesparrow often wondered how such a thing felt but she looked towards Owlscreech, he was getting use to his new position as a leader without even being a deputy. Both of them had interesting positions which made the she-cat curious but her attention brought back to her friend Blue, with his words he seemed like he was indeed going to join Shadowclan. It made her happy he was going to, they could spend time around each other and he could be there for his siblings like he should be.

` ♚ B L U E P A W ♚ words . tags ♚”He is and you are, I’m glad to see that you agree” Bluepaw nodded, grinning at Owlscreech. She was so glad that her brother seemed to be getting it! Even if it was taking him a while to process it. He instantly got what she said to Blue, though, earning herself a chuckle from Owlscreech. Owlscreech didn’t need to worry though, she hadn’t forgotten about him and Maplefang. She would bring them up again in the future. Still she wasn’t really focused on that right now, even if she was trying to make the situation lighter Bluepaw was really hoping that Blue managed to pull through.
Blue did apologise, then his paw went to his feather and Bluepaw was frowning. How long had her brother had that? Whitesparrow had one as well. Where they really just friends? It seemed a little odd. Then again Blue did like to be like his friends and family and she could see him adapting the trend from her. Who knows? What she did know was he seemed to be staying even if he didn’t say a lot. It would be up to Owlscreech to decide if it was enough for him and if Owlscreech said no, then Bluepaw wouldn’t fight it anymore. Forced love was not what she was looking for.
While Owlscreech and Blue sorted it out, Bluepaw turned her gaze to Whitesparrow. Whitesparrow was quiet, but not dull. The rare type of cat that Bluepaw could be friends with. Bluepaw had never really had any female friends, and she realised that she kind of wanted one. Maybe if she tried not to be a bitch to her brothers friend, they could become friends. ”It’d be great to get to know you, Whitesparrow” she inclined her head into a slight nod, probably the most friendly she had ever been to a cat in her life.

I said hey look Ma, I made it.
"You are," Owlscreech responded with a narrowing of his eyes, "But was it your decision, or did Bluepaw make you feel like you had no choice but to be here?" Owlscreech wanted to make sure Blue knew what he was getting himself into. During their very first conversation, before Blue had any memory of who Owl was, the blue tabby had hinted that he missed city life. He had said the forest was too foreign for him. Owlscreech, no matter what he felt for his half-brother, couldn't allow a cat who might turn tail and flee within a moon. What would Shadowclan think if he did? He had a reputation to uphold now.
"You have Shadowclan blood in your veins, Blue, even if you don't remember it. But with no memories comes no connection to your Clan life, and I need to know you're here to stay." Owlscreech stared hard at Blue, searching the cats face as if he could read his thoughts with just one look. "No more running after the shadow of a tom none of us knew, no more running into the city, or chasing after The Towers. You come home and you stay, or you don't come home at all."
Owlscreech felt his heart rate quicken as the words rolled off his tongue. What would Blue say? Could he settle down with him and Bluepaw even without any memories of being Lizardpaw? Was there anything they could do to remind their half-brother of the relationship they had before he left them? Or would Blue continue to wander, trying to find a ghost he couldn't remember?

Blue tilts his head as he listens to Bluepaw talking to Whitesparrow and turns back to Owlscreech. "Would it help if I told you during my time here I got my memory back? I'm not happy that I left to pursuit that tom...or that I thought city life would be better. My home is here brother, with you, with Bluepaw and her future kits. I love you...I'll stay and I won't fail you." He said and he suddenly pounces on his younger brother and leader and purrs nuzzling him, his eye was watering a bit.

Whitesparrow
"Can you see, even without the light?"
Whitesparrow continued to stay silent, after all it would have been rude to say anything anyways. They siblings were speaking amongest themselves about the subject of Blue, his memories, family and joining. It was interesting to hear them speak and hoped they didn't honestly mind she was still standing there listening to their back and forth about the topic. After the small talk she had with Blue when they met about the topic of his siblings she was glad to see this going well.
Her ear flicked as she turned her attention to Bluepaw, to many Blues in one spot. At least it was Blue and Blue paw instead of Blue and Blue. Oh boy! Just thinking about it caused her head to spin! A gentle smile was upon her lips as she dipped her cranium towards her as well, "Same to you, Bluepaw. It would be pleasant to get to know you as well" She responded, honestly it would be nice to get to know her. Whitesparrow had only made two friends so far so more would be nice. After all Bluepaw seemed like a interesting cat, just from seeing how she interacted with others from a distance.
From the quick movement from Blue, her attention returned to see her friend go in for a nuzzle with his brother. That was sweet, seeing them getting along after hearing the worried Blue had. Whitesparrow had grown quiet again, she didn't know exactly what else to say to Bluepaw nor if it was a proper time to have a conversation. She was kinda just enjoying the sight of sweet brotherly love, something she missed out on as a kit.

` ♚ B L U E P A W ♚ words . tags ♚Bluepaw’s thoughts about becoming Whitesparrow’s friend weren’t altered by the quiet words that Bluepaw got in reply. Anyone that wasn’t instantly a raging moron was someone that Bluepaw could get to know. She just couldn’t deal with purely dumb cats. She hated cats that just didn’t understand basic, simple things. They infuriated the shit out of her but Whitesparrow didn’t seem to be that type of cat. ”Maybe we will have time for that in the future. If you want you can come visit my kits. I don’t get along with many cats, but I don’t want my kits to be lonely just because of my lack of social ability” Then Bluepaw herself quietened up, deciding she had enough being nice and talking she turned her attention back to her siblings.
She was confronted by the odd site of Blue slamming into Owlscreech and giving him a big fat hug. Shit had worked itself out, like she had hoped. With a giggle she leaned forward to lick Blue’s face and then Owlscreech’s ”All this fighting for nothing, you grumpy assholes” She paused ”I’m glad that my kittens are going to be surrounded with family” they would, so many cats had volunteered to be there. Her brothers, Hollowdusk’s family. Maybe this would be a lot better then she thought.

I said hey look Ma, I made it.
As Blue stepped forward, Owlscreech felt himself holding his breath. It was now or never, the tabby tom thought. The russian blue tabby stood in front of him, his one blue eye glassy with unshed tears. As Owlscreech listened with a small smile evergrowing on his face, he couldn't help but think of all the similarities between Blue and Bluepaw. They were similar in color, but not pattern. They had similar scars covering their eyes, but with different hues looking back at him. But, most importantly, they were both his siblings. As Blue crashed into him, Owlscreech was shoved a few inches through the dirt, a loud purr rumbling out of his throat. That was another thing Blue and Bluepaw had in common- they were bigger than him. The Shadowclan leader wished he could blame his 'youngest brother' sibling on his height, but he knew better.
"Alright, alright," Owlscreech laughed as he used both of his front legs to shove Blue in the chest, having just enough strength in his legs to wiggle out from under his brother. "If you'll excuse me, I have leaderly duties to attend to." Flashing the three cats a smile of his own, Owlscreech turned, and with his tail held high into the air, began to walk away from them. He walked slowly as if to throw the group off his trail, before making the hop, skip and a jump it took to climb the side of the cluster of rocks that lead to his den. Strutting to the edge of the rock platform that overhung the freshwater stream below him, Owlscreech fixed his soft gaze on Blue and Bluepaw. Finally, his siblings were home.
Rising his head, Owlscreech let out a similar yowl to the one he had given just the day before when Shadowclan and Windclan had met The Towers. As the cats who were still in camp stilled their movements and gave him their attention, Owlscreech cleared his throat."Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below the Tall Stone for a Clan meeting." 345 words

Blue grins as he paws Owlscreech on the nose and lick his face purring. Tho he hissed slightly as He was pushed on the stomach accidently hitting an old belly scar from his fight with his father. He nods and hops off his brother still purring, "Ok Owlstar." He said with a wink. He turns as he felt a lick from Bluepaw and nuzzles her as well and started to groom her, "Thank you for giving me a chance." He said softly. He said as he turns to look at Whitesparrow silently wondering if they would ever be more than just friends. His head jerked as he heard his Brother yowl and approaches toward him. from the lower level.
