Whitesparrow
"Can you see, even without the light?"
Whitesparrow would give a nod towards Bluepaw, "I would love to visit your kits" She spoke with her gentle tone while her gaze watched the siblings interact. She was enjoying the warm atmosphere of the family, it was sweet and heart warming to see but it was kind of short in a way. She watched as Owlscreech bounded to the high over hanging rock to speak. She figured it had to do with the two. She glanced towards Blue for a moment with a soft smile stuck upon her lips before he went over towards the meeting area.
The pure white she-cat would have followed after the others, seating herself a bit to the side as the clan gathered around to listen to what Owlscreech had to say. A ear flicked as she was curious, was he just going to announce his brothers joining or what there something else? It didn't matter either way, it was the leader calling the clan and the clan would listen no matter how big or small a meeting was.

` ♚ B L U E P A W ♚ words . tags ♚Bluepaw poked her tongue out at Owlscreech ”Jeez, you don’t need to brag about how you are leader” once upon a time it would have been a sore spot with Bluepaw, but she no longer had the ambitions of becoming leader and she was truely joking right now. She loved Owlscreech and was super proud of him… In fact she had an idea that she was brewing up. It would be small, just friends and family… But it could be fun. Owlscreech will definitely appreciate it. It’d probably just be her, Maplefang and Blue.
Anyway, Owlscreech was calling a meeting. Blue was about to become apart of Shadowclan and she was ecstatic for him… but a small selfish part of her wanted for her to become a warrior first. She was done being a fucking apprentice and looked down on. She was proud that she had manage to anger every fucking high rank and get held back but she was done with being shitted on. She trusted that Owlscreech would have her warrior ceremony around the corner, he knew just how long she’d be waiting for it. Hell, she was such a fucking quick-learner she could have been one of the earliest warriors. The only reason she had been held back was her attitude, which just got worse when people commented on it. Purring faintly at Blue’s grooming she headed over to where Owlscreech was perched, the sudden weariness and full weight of her pregnancy hitting in for the day. As cats gathered around to listen to Owlscreech she gave him a small, encouraging smile. ”This is your moment, Blue” she whispered to her brother. Even if she really wanted her own ceremony she didn’t let it show, giving him a wide, enthusiastic smile.

I said hey look Ma, I made it.
Seeing the Shadowclan cats pool around him was still unusual to Owlscreech, but a welcome sight all the same. It was going to take some getting used to, of course, but any cat would be lying if they told you it wasn't an ego boost. Even if you were scared shitless of your newfound leadership. Nevertheless, having done this ceremony once before, although it hadn't been... 'official', the tan tabby was feeling rather confident! He knew the words of this speech and he already had the perfect name in mind for his dear brother Blue. It would link him to his past, while still keeping the newest part of his identity.
"Now that we have settled into our new home, It's time we begin addressing some overdue ceremonies. I know there are several young cats who have reached six moons of age during our journey, and as soon as Vipernose and I have determined Shadowclan is strong enough to begin training its young, we will be granting kits their apprenticeship. Until then, however," Owlscreech meowed as his mint green gaze traveled over to Blue. "It's time we welcome a forgotten apprentice home and give him the warrior name he deserves."
"I, Owlscreech, leader of Shadowclan, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." Owlscreech felt the words as they rolled from his tongue just as smoothly as when Maplefang had taught them to him. He hoped no cat would question his slight change in the script, but rather respect him for not pretending like he had ancestors in Starclan. Locking his eyes on Blue, Owlscreech felt his earlier anger melt away entirely. Instead, he spoke his next words in a voice full of affection and understanding. "Blue, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Blue blushed and purrs as he gently paws Bluepaw with affection and nuzzles her as he walks while whispering, "You should be up there with me...you helped me figured out who I am and where I belong." He said quietly as he waits looking up to Owlscreech trying hard not to tremble, he was giving Blue...no...Lizardpaw too much credit. But he waited until Owlscreech finished his question while briefly glancing at the three cats he cares the most and meant every word as he say two simple words. "I do."

Whitesparrow
"Can you see, even without the light?"
Ears flicked as each word was spoken during this ceremony, it made her remember her own after she left the life of a loner and finished training. Now she was going to witness her friend gain his warrior name and join the clan. It was pleasant, heart warming kind of to her. The leader was her friends brother and he was welcoming him and giving him a warrior name as well. It was sweet. Her gaze would shift between the leader and Blue as they spoke, her own vocals holding do to respect and for when the name would be announced so she could join in on shouting it to the sky with the clan.

` ♚ B L U E P A W ♚ words . tags ♚As the clan gathered before Owlscreech, all of her misgivings were pushed away. Owlscreech had grown so much since he first joined the clan, and she was so proud of him. He had stood his ground through all the shit he had gotten from being rogue born and had came out on top. Owlscreech had grown into a dependent young man that didn’t let his fears show when he addressed his clan. He also had fears. That was one of the things she loved most about his leadership, that he cared what happened. He understood what could happen if something went wrong, and it was that humane side of him that would stop him from being a tyrant.
At the back of her mind was the scary thought that if he became a tyrant, if he got drunk on the power - she highly doubted he would, but there was always a small chance - what she would have to do. She would not be able to let Shadowclan be lead by someone like that… Pumpkinstar had sworn to her that he would not become a tyrant, that he would do what was best for Shadowclan, then he had made his own warriors fight each other for fun. Luckily that didn’t even seem like a possibility in this point of time, so it was easy to push those scary, dark thoughts.
The words that came out of Owlscreech’s mouth were like honey, the phrases themselves changed to fit the new succession to Shadowclan’s dynasty. Blue was finally going to get the honor to join Shadowclan and her family was finally going to be together, once and for all.

I said hey look Ma, I made it.
"Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Blue," Owlscreech meowed steadily, feeling a sense of power course through his body. "from this moment on you will be known as Bluelizard. Starclan honors your honesty and dedication, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Shadowclan." Beckoning the older warrior forward, Owlscreech rested his muzzle briefly on the top of his half-brothers head, as awkward as it might be due to their height difference. He breathed in the familiar scent his brother carried with him, and feeling at ease knowing his brother was finally home to stay, Owlscreech pulled away from Bluelizard with affection lidded eyes. "Welcome home, brother." The tabby tom whispered into his brother's ear as the cats below them began to chant Bluelizard! Bluelizard!
Owlscreech watched carefully as Bluelizard rejoined the group of cats, observing as the Clan whispered to him as he pushed through the crowd. It was obvious to see how relaxed the Clan appeared now that their life was returning to a state of normalcy. Being unable to hold ceremonies had disconnected Shadowclan to their ancestors, in a sense, and even if Owlscreech didn't fully understand how important Starclan was to each Clan cat, he was happy to be able to repair the severed link. As the crowd began to calm below him, Owlscreech allowed his eyes to sweep over the cats as they returned their attention to him. "We have one more apprentice to name today, one who is long overdue for her warrior name. She should have gotten her name before we left Shadowclan nine moons ago, and has proven herself a strong Shadowclan warrior time and time again during our journey."
Shifting his gaze to Bluepaw, Owlscreech smiled. He knew how much the speckled blue molly had envied him for getting a name before her, but even then she had pushed down her anger in order to be happy for him. Now, it was his turn to give her the greatest gift he could. "I, Owlscreech, leader of Shadowclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Bluepaw," he meowed, eyes alight with excitement for his eldest sister. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" 411 words

Bluelizard blushed softly as he bows to allow his youngest brother rest his head on his head. As he heard his brother whisper he blushed harder, "It's good to be home." He said as he walks back to Whitesparrow and Bluepaw, his face couldn't get any redder as he heard his new warrior name being chanted. When He was aware that Owlscreech wasn't done, he turns and paws Bluepaw gently and whispers, "It's your moment now sis." He said as he padded to sit by Whitesparrow purring as he watches and listens to his eldest sister's warrior ceremony.

Whitesparrow
"Can you see, even without the light?"
As the ceremony continued, Whitesparrow would have looked over the crowd a bit just observing others while she listened, but when it came time for her friends warrior name her attention returned. Blue was becoming Bluelizard, a name that seemed very fitting for the tom. Her vocals would have rang out, enjoying celebrating the toms new name with the chanting "Bluelizard, Bluelizard!" Her sweet vocals were for once loud but would quiet again when Owlscreech when to continue. It seemed Bluepaw was going to join the warrior ceremony with her own.
The pure white and pink accented she-cat would flick a ear as Bluelizard sat near her, a soft smile upon her features. "Congrats on the new name" She purred very lightly, only giving the small comment because it was short and soft so it wouldn't disturb the ceremony going on.

` ♚ B L U E P A W ♚ words . tags ♚The cheers for her brother floated out of her mouth, a buzzing noise in her ear making her deaf to what she was saying. Then it came back from her and she sure as hell was the loudest one screaming out ‘Bluelizard, Bluelizard’ As Bluelizard walked back past her she swatted him on the shoulder, the smack a very much a congratulation. Despite the true happiness in her eyes, it wasn’t for herself, it was for Bluelizard. She still wanted her own ceremony.
Owlscreech seemed to be reading her mind as he continued on the meeting. Holy shit, now it was her time to shine. Her time to poke her tongue out at the haters and shit in their face. She was becoming a warrior and nothing they do or say could change that. As she rose to her slender blue paws, her good eye looked with Owlscreech’s mint one. Her brother seemed to share the exact emotions that were coursing through her.
I, Owlscreech, leader of Shadowclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Bluepaw...Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life? A twinge of guilt then flickered in her. She would not give up her life for complete strangers, however she would give up her life for Owlscreech. That was good enough, right?
Bluepaw could have debated this for ages, but she had waited moons and moons for this and she wasn’t going to little a little bit of doubt or guilt about it. ”I do” Her voice was strong, letting the whole clan know she was ready for this shit.
This was her moment and nothing was going to fuck it up.

I said hey look Ma, I made it.
For the second time that day, Owlscreech recited the speech he had memorized. "Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Bluepaw, from this moment on you will be known as Bluebell. Starclan honors your fighting skill and your dedication, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Shadowclan." As the words left his mouth, Owlscreech lept off the Tall Stone and landed gently on the grass below, offering his half-sister a goofy grin as he placed his muzzle upon her head. It had been hard to know Bluebell was hurting when he had gotten his warrior name without her, but he felt that getting her name from him, at the same time that Bluelizard got his name, would make it worth the wait.
As the shouts from the cats around them began to fade, Owlscreech raised his head, although his eyes never left Bluebells face. "That is all," he replied with a small flick of his tail, dismissing the gathered cats like he had done it a thousand times before. Owlscreech then sat, offering Bluebell a smile as the cats swarmed around her to greet her by her new name. She deserved a moment where cats congratulated her, Owlscreech would talk to her afterward.
Eventually, Shadowclan would return to its duties, seeing as the sun was still high in the sky, though it would begin its descent behind the trees in roughly a half an hours time. Owlscreech padded forward, headbutting Bluebell in the shoulder before running the length of his body against hers. "Well, you won't be having a teenage birth at least," He meowed in a teasing tone. Even if she had brought her kits into the world as Bluepaw, she wouldn't have been any less a fully grown she-cat. "I've successfully taken away Hollowdusks newest means of teasing you. You're welcome." Eyeing all three cats around him, Owlscreech smirked. "Well? How does it feel to be a warrior, you two? Whitesparrow and I are already quite used to it, so it's about time you joined us." 345 words

Bluelizard smiles as he started to chant Bluebell's name. But blushed as he gently leans by Whitesparrow purring. It's going to get some getting used to, but how and why did you choose Bluelizard?" He said with a chuckle. He shuffles his paws slightly wondering where he would rest now. He didn't really explore the camp or the terrioty.

Whitesparrow
"Can you see, even without the light?"
Whitesparrow would join in on the chanting for Bluebell's new name, She was willing to cheer for any of her clan mates. She might not have knew them well but she could tell Bluebell also deserved her warrior name. It was nice to get back into the swing of things for a clan, ceremonies were a good way to start feeling like this was truly home.
When Owlscreech concluded the meeting and came down to speak to Bluelizard and Bluebell, she would watch quietly. The two names were going to have to be gotten use to for the whole clan, including her reason why she repeated the names a few times in her head. Honestly they could be a mouth full and a bit confusing with both starting with 'Blue' but that would probably get easier as time went on. A ear flicked as she removed herself from her thoughts, finding it amusing that Bluelizard was wondering why he was given such a name. Honestly it was sometimes knowing the reasoning of names.

` ♚ B L U E P A W ♚ words . tags ♚Bluebell...Bluebell The name was bouncing around in her head, not really sticking. What was Bluebell, apart from a flower? Then in a surreal kind of way it came crashing down onto her, leaving her with her eyes wide and jaw slack. Bluebell was her name, her identity. Those delicate flowers better watch out, Bluebell was ready to steal all of what their name meant to them, and take it for herself.
As he leapt down in front of her, she grinned right back at him. Never would she have guessed that her own fucking brother would be giving her her warrior name. It made this whole thing way more magical and beyond her wildest dreams. Not everyone’s warrior ceremony could be as personal as hers and it was definitely worth the wait… she just wouldn’t suggest anyone else wait as long as she would. Lowering her head so it was more easy for him to lay his muzzle on her head she closed her eyes, taking everything in.
It was so enchanting, that brief moment when her warriors ceremony was officially over. With one inhale of the sweet, scent-filled air, Bluebell took a step back from Owlscreech and gave him a grateful, loving smile. She definitely was going to hang out with her family after this but she decided that she deserved to soak in the fact that everyone was cheering her name, and congratulating her.
Once it was all over Owlscreech came over to her with a playful headbutt, Bluebell returning the affection with a playful swipe of her paw. ”Fuck off” she laughed, the sound almost giddy enough to be a giggle. ”We all know that while I may act like a teenager, I’m an adult” she shook her head at him, unable to keep the wide grin from her lips. ”Hollowdusk is an old softie, he’s probably glad there isn’t a father around and he can step in spoil my babies” Her michesvious gaze went from Owlscreech to Bluelizard ”I forgot to mention you guys have some competition”
The next sentence earnt Owlscreech another friendly whack from Bluebell. ”Me and Bluelizard may be newly named warriors, but don’t think that when I get into the warriors den that I’m giving the nests up to the ‘more experienced cats’ or whatever” She then pressed her nose to Owlscreech’s face with a purr ”But honestly, thank you so much Owlscreech. You know how much it meant to me”

I said hey look Ma, I made it. "I'm not worried," Owlscreech replied with a loud laugh. "Who do you really think your kits will like more? The huge, creepy cat who never cracks a smile, or their super cool uncle Owlstar?" His tone was heavy with amusement, clearly pulling a joke about his new rank rather than actually being up his own ass and feeling like he was better than Hollowdusk. He was glad Bluebell felt like she had more family in Shadowclan, and even found a sliver of relief in knowing that if something bad did happen, Owlscreech wouldn't be solely responsible for the lives of several young kittens. He would take care of them to the best of his ability no matter what, but having an extra set of paws Bluebell trusted wouldn't hurt- especially when those paws had already raised kits.
Playfully throwing a slap back at Bluebell, Owlscreechs eyes remained alight with amusement. "You can fight over nests in the warriors' den all you want, I won't be the one losing my bed. Just don't go crowding Bluelizard and Whitesparrow out, okay? They're clearly in love." Shooting forward, Owlscreech tucked his hind legs as close to his body as he could as he dashed forward to escape any more swats that could possibly be thrown his way for that joke. Through his laughter, the three cats behind him could hear his call as he dashed towards the camp entrance and through the partially woven wall. "C'mon, I bet Whitesparrow and I can catch twice the amount of mice you overgrown apprentices can!" 259 words
