A speckled tom cat lay calmly in the new camp. He was nervous about all the Tower business, but he loved to relax in the soft grass. It was nice to have everyone relaxing for once, instead of running around about to die in the snow. Now he could finally get to know his clan mates without it being some sad story or an angry hiss to back off. |

power at all costs out of the shadows prowled a beautiful she-cat, her fluffy fur surrounding her slim body. lilacdove's fawn pelt glistened in the sun and her blue eyes blinked. looking around, she tried to find someone to speak to. someone new, someone she had never met before... her icy eyes fell upon badgerfrost.
she strode over to him with a smile on her face, her bushy tail high above the ground as she went to sit before him. "hello there. i don't believe we've met." |

BadgerFrost looked up, blushing slightly in surprise at just how beautiful the newcomer was. "I..erm..." he sat up and cleared his throat, "I'm BadgerFrost, and who might you be, besides the loveliest she-cat I've ever seen?" he smiled bashfully, trying his best as he curled his tail neatly over his paws. |

possibilities in the air lilacdove smiled kindly at the flustered tom, her eyes widening. "the loveliest, huh? you're not too shabby yourself, badgerfrost. it's a shame we didn't meet before. i have a feeling that i would've enjoyed your company during that whole walk." lilacdove failed to mention that, during that whole walk, she'd been technically a part of shadowclan. she hadn't announced it or anything, but lilacdove had followed her brother's lead. clouddancer had decided shadowclan, so shadowclan it was. however once they reached the territories she'd made a swift change to windclan. mushroomstar, unlike owlscreech, seemed like a more promising leader. after all, owlscreech didn't even have the star suffix that all leaders had. pathetic.
she flicked her tail on the ground, sending a cloud of dust flying in the direction of some rowdy apprentices. "so, badgerfrost- how's the day been treating you?" |

The grey tom smiled a bit, "It's been kinda lonely, til you showed up at least. Everyone's spending a lot of time with family and stuff now that we're settled and I'm, well" his smile faltered a bit, "Without family, so to speak... but it's alright, I'll make some friends once everyone's calmed down... how are you?" |

possibilities in the air she smiled back at him warmly, amused by the tom's childish ways of flirting. he reminded her a lot of her brother, clouddancer. he had always been a shameless ladies's man.
she frowned a bit, tilting her head. "no family? oh dear, is your family gone too?" lilacdove winced at the though of her own parents, who had perished in the cold like so many others. "i'm sure you'll find someone, with looks like that." she blushed slightly as she said it, but not enough for the tom to notice. her eyes widened again at his question.
"me? oh, i've been good i guess. as good as one can be in a time like this." |

BadgerFrost smiled, "It's better than walking still, though this place is pretty suspicious if you ask me." he glanced over his shoulder, "It's better than still walking constantly and just hoping for something good to happen, right?" The grey cat didn't truly feel this way. He really wanted to leave and keep going, to leave the eerie cats as they were and get out, but he knew it wasn't up to him. "A break is a good chance to finally get to know some clan-mates," he hesitated, "I never had much of a family anyways, my mother died when I was little, I never knew my father... my big brother died on the journey, I think... I never really saw, he just kinda disappeared after he got sick..." |
