VipernoseAmber eyes watched as Fallenstar eyed her, giving her a look that told her to shut up. She listened to his words, scoffing quietly at his orders. Sometimes she wished she didn’t have to listen to everything the leader had to say. Vipernose watched as the orange and white tom left the front of his clan to go attend to the ruckus in the back. She couldn’t help but feel a little annoyed at that; why make the problem bigger? But Fallenstar’s reaction to the cream rogue intrigued her. The ShadowClan leader seemed to know this tom, but how? This white-furred tom also appeared to know Fallenstar, and this left Vipernose confused. Who was that cat? Then suddenly, Owlpaw was on Bluepaw. From her point of view, all Vipernose could see was blood spraying everywhere and all she could hear were some not so friendly words being shared. Maplepaw looked bewildered, and she couldn’t seem to muster up any words. The silver tabby could sense more and more cats wandering toward the big group, wondering what was going on. The deputy heard a small voice, and looked straight at Otterkit, who was perched on top of Fallenstar. Her dark yellow orbs were locked on the small tom as he leaped down and through the snow, right to her paws. Vipernose smiled warmly, glad for some company, especially from a cat that she liked. She lowered her head to his level, her gaze soft. “Of course I remember you!” she meowed. “I’m glad you left all those fuc- fox-brained felines. Their language isn’t too nice, is it?” Vipernose sighed in relief, glad she had saved herself from a bad slip up. “And please,” she chuckled. “No formalities are needed. Vipernose is fine, or Viper if you’d like!” The molly leaned in closer. “That nickname is just between you and me, okay? I don’t even let my mate call me that!” She laughed, and briefly touched her nose to the kit’s. The she-cat could hear more profanities being exchanged between Bluepaw and Owlpaw, and she wanted to cover Otterkit’s small ears, but didn’t want to scare the poor kit. Vipernose tried to look anywhere but at the back of ShadowClan, not wanting to draw the petite tom’s attention back to where he came from. The black and silver cat then heard Mushroomstar’s voice, and found trying to look away very hard. Vipernose searched her brain for something to say to distract Otterkit and herself from what was happening. “So,” she said, a little to eagerly. “Um… I don’t know if you knew this, but I was recently appointed as deputy - the leader’s, well, helper!” The tabby mentally slapped herself for acting so dumb. “And I know it’s foolish, but I was wondering if you could give me some advice?” Her smile faltered as she listened to her own words. “What are some good qualities you think a deputy should have, Otterkit? I feel like you’re a trustworthy source.” She tried to stop blabbering, but she knew she couldn’t. Not when she needed to keep the kit away from the inappropriate things happening behind them. Right now, she had a job. And that job was to keep Otterkit as pure and innocent as he could be. _____________________________________________

His gaze swept the crowds once more, zoning in on the forwards movement of another. Ginger looking, green eyes. His jaws parted to take in the scent of this new cat, though he struggled to zone out the other scents. He was getting old; but he would never admit his scent problems to others. He lacked anything useful from his nose, bar a rougish look. Direstrait scented another, familiar one at last. A dark tabby head turned slightly to the side, tilted in a somewhat psychotic way but nothing to match his companion.
A rumbling purr broke the quiet at the sight of DeNiro beside him, a cruel grin twitching at his lips.
"How lovely of you to join me, dear friend. You were missing all the party," he laughed, deep and dark. He turned back to the ginger tom, who had ceased his speech on the sight of his companion. Thank gosh for that. He let a smirk twitch at his maw as the cream coloured tom spoke, rolling his eyes.
"Please, DeNiro, keep your vile thoughts to yourself. We wouldn't want to scare the little clan cats just yet," he spoke softly, though humour tinted his words easily.
"Cease your drawl, we have business to attend to. We can.. eat later," he waved at paw at DeNiro, as though shooing him away. He noted the exchange between the rogue and the clan cat, but shrugged it off. DeNiro could handle it himself; rival affairs were kept to themselves in this cold.
Owlpaw had finally been removed from his back, leaving him to shake off the feel of claws and teeth in his back. It had been a long time since he felt anything like that. It fired up in his veins the hate and rage that festered beneath him. Only when it got the better of him did he strike. Now was not the time. Later; later he would enact revenge on the small cat. And he would never see it coming. He only let out a curt laugh at the apprentices scrabble.
With his attention diverted, he missed Mushroomstar's words and let out a snarl as he was hit, taking a few steps backwards. His claws sank into the frozen ground below, eyes flaring with anger. He had been reasonable for a rogue and yet this clan cat ignored what he spoke of and let out an atrocious laugh. No wonder half the kits were deaf, it was awful. Mushroomstar's words just passed over his head, mostly just an opposite repeat of what he had asked for. He rolled his eyes.
"We are not here to fight, just a little fun. We've lost that in the city, we want more. We will not join your clans or follow your commands. We are not Clan cats," he snarled his words, pushing his face close to Mushroomstar's.
"We know far more than you clan cats about what lurks in the beyond, we were not confined to our city walls like you with your borders. You have no idea what is out there. You'll need us more than we need you." His gaze swept the crowd behind the leaders, before returning. He stared down the male, noting the change in comfort from DeNiro's words.
"Whether you want us with you or not, we'll be there alongside you until somewhere pops up for us."

I hope somebody's gonna hold my tongue.
Owlpaw was still waiting patiently for Bluepaws next move as she finally began to speak, spewing a few random insults at him as her tail seemed to flick violently in annoyance. He had been so focused on staring at Bluepaw, his usual cocky smirk twisting his lips, that he hadn't even realized Bluepaw was using her words to distract him. Several snowballs had been launched at him, at least three of them smacking him in the face while the other two exploded into powder on his chest. His ears twisted backward in mild annoyance as he shook his head, the motion clearing the snow from his eyes quickly enough to see Bluepaw getting in his face.
Owlpaw yowled in pain as his half-sister sank her sharp teeth into his tail, one of his front paws immediately lifting into the air as he curved his body sideways, preparing to smack Bluepaw in the face for the third time. Before he could lash out with his paw, however, Bluepaw had slid across the snow and slammed her shoulder into his ribcage, causing him to stumble forward and momentarily lose his balance and giving Bluepaw a chance to slip away from him. Damn it, Owlpaw cursed at himself, planting his feet firmly into the snow as he turned his head to see which way Bluepaw had gone.
Suddenly, needles were sinking into the tops of Owlpaws hips as a weight practically settled on top of him, his ass being forced to sink to the ground as he was pushed into a sitting position. Turning his head to look over his shoulder, Owlpaw raised one brow as he stared at her. "What are you doing, hugging my ass?" The tom questioned, unfamiliar with this odd hold she had on him. "This isn't how you 'kiss ass' and make up, sweetie, but I appreciate the effort-"
No time for shit talking, huh? Owlpaw thought as Bluepaw wiggled her haunches and lept at him, his instincts telling him to duck in order to not be kicked in the head as the she-cat went to clear his body. As soon as she had landed, snow sprayed into his eyes for the second fucking time today and he flinched backward, shaking his head to clear his vision. In the few seconds, it took him to recover Bluepaw had progressed on him again and used her strength to shove him into the snow, one of her paws coming to rest just over his throat to still his struggles. He tilted his chin upward slightly, trying to dislodge her paw from the sensitive area to no avail. Instead, he settled for glaring at her with unamused eyes as she spoke to him.
Claws raked painfully across the bridge of his nose at Owlpaw bit his tongue to stop the cry that tried to escape his mouth. Blood began to cascade down his face as Bluepaw scarred both his nose and, finally, the ear she hadn't previously ripped. Tears stung Owlpaws eyes as blood began to fill his mouth at the intensity he was using to hold his tongue. Just as Bluepaws weight was lifted from his chest Owlpaw sucked in a much needed breath of air, just to have it evacuate his lungs as Bluepaw brought her hind leg between his own in a kick to his nuts. Sharp pains immediately shot through his lower abdomen as Owlpaws body went rigid, a loud groan escaping him as he flopped from his back onto his side. It felt as if his other wounds had immediately vanished as the pain in his crotch was worse than anything else Bluepaw had dished out to him. He watched bleary-eyed as Bluepaw retreated into the group of cats, using the rest of his strength to call out to her.
"You're just as bad as our father, Bluepaw! Turning on and abandoning your family just like he did! You're dead to me, Bluepaw, do you hear me?! Fuck you!" Tears freely fell from Owlpaws eyes at this point, partly from the pain an partly from being left again by a feline he shared blood with. He didn't even know if Bluepaw had heard him, but he had felt it needed to be said. Honestly, Owlpaw just wanted to... close his eyes and lay here, just for a moment, just until the pain in his balls subsided. Yeah, just a moments rest... 736 words.

Marigoldpelt
With all the drama going on at the back of the group, she had hardly spoken to Fawnstep, far more attracted by the screeching and fighting. She dashed forwards, winding in and out of other cats before sliding up alongside Fallenstar. She flicked her tail to his shoulder to let him know she was there; he seemed a bit preoccupied with the rogues. Her voice came soft and calm, though her eyes were wild with fear.
"Perhaps it is best to forget this fighting and let them tag along. They must have a good reason, you know the rogues normally stay far away from us," she stepped around Mushroomstar, blazing green eyes glaring at him.
"As leader, surely you should no better than to continue this nonsense in such harsh weather. Your cats are suffering already, no need to make it worse." She continued past, glancing across to the rogues before coming across the fighting apprentices who seemed to have finally stopped.
"I'm glad you two saw sense before some real injury happened! We've hardly enough herbs to be healing up petty fight injuries!" she barked at the two, scowling before she made her way back to Fallenstar's side.
"We must continue, let the rogues do as they please. It will only be worse for us if we don't let them tag along. Let us go," she spoke softly to her leader before turning and walking to the front of the group, chivying them along to get moving once again.
